Finding the right equipment to help you in your home
There are two ways to use this page, both of which give the same result. You can either:
- Click on a room in the image of the house below - this will guide you to the area that you need help with; or
- Select a box at the bottom of the page that relates to the room you need help in - this will guide you to the options available
Some equipment can help make life easier. You can use our equipment house to help you decide what may help you. It links to the AskSARA website that provides guided advice about daily living equipment. You can also see how equipment can help people in our YouTube videos.
Equipment for sensory impairment
If you are finding it difficult to carry out day-to-day tasks at home due to a sensory impairment, you may benefit from the wide range of available equipment to support you.
Our Rehabilitation Officers for the Visually Impaired (ROVIs) can discuss your requirements to see what type of equipment would be most suitable. Visit the Sensory impairment section for more information and contact details for the ROVI team.
