The Community Reablement Service (CRS) provides short-term social care rehabilitation to support you to become or remain independent at home. You may need this service after a stay in hospital, or just because you have not been coping as well as you would like at home.
Despite the significant challenges of delivering the reablement service during the pandemic, 1498 people received support during 2020-21. 73% of people returned to self-caring or had reduced their levels of formal support by March 2021. Whilst this is a slight reduction on the performance of the previous year, it remains in excess of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and is a testament to the hard work of all the staff involved, during what was a very difficult year.
