If you need support for longer than six weeks, the social care worker will talk to you about the options that are available to you. They will review your care needs with you and decide what further support you need after you leave the reablement service. If you are eligible for funded social care support we will arrange a financial assessment with one of our welfare benefits advisers to check whether you should pay towards the cost of any further support. Charges will be applied from the end of your period of reablement. The amount we may ask you to pay will depend on your personal circumstances.
If you are not eligible for funded support from us you will have to pay the full cost of any further support, once your period of reablement has ended.
