Tozer House - Chichester

A collage of three pictures, four people overlooking water, a person picking out flowers, and a person tending to a garden patch

Tozer House is a registered residential care home providing person-centred care and support for up to 15 people over the age of 18 who have a learning disability.

Tozer is made up of two houses, and each house has eight single bedrooms. Two of these rooms are allocated for short breaks. Tozer also has a range of communal areas that people can use, a lounge/dining area, a kitchen and three bathrooms.

The grounds surrounding Tozer House have plenty of spaces for people to enjoy outdoor activities and BBQs as well as accessible pathways and a summer house.

Life at Tozer House is full of opportunity.  The people we support are involved in a range of activities in their local community that keep everyone connected with the neighbourhood.

 Activities and interests include:

  • Voluntary work with the Chichester Canal Trust.
  • Volunteering at the Cinnamon Trust with dog-walking for people who need help with their four-legged friends.
  • Taking part in educational talks at Chichester College and the county’s schools.
  • Joining the Community Art Project at Pallant House in Chichester.
  • Volunteering at Crimsham Farm in Pagham.

People’s choices are respected in every aspect of their lives, and the recruitment of new staff is an important part of that choice. People’s Panels are arranged at the interview stage to ensure that everyone has a say and that the right people join our team.
